๐ŸฆƒPost-Thanksgiving and Pre-Christmas!๐ŸŽ„

by Esther on 9 December 2020

It is the last month of 2020, which amazes me. We wrapped up Thanksgiving holiday two weeks back and now we are two weeks away from Christmas holiday. It is also crazy to think that Hanukkah is starting tomorrow. I plan to make some doughnuts, but that’ll have to wait until I have been approved by my parents. They probably won’t come out like Sufganiyot, but hopefully, they’ll be better than the Lidl doughnuts. We will have to see.

Thanksgiving was a full house (LOL: my introvertness counts five (*six for one night*) full). Right now with the living situation, my grandmother is temporarily staying with us, my anxiety has been acting up a lot. I am glad Chris is working on the house. He sent us photos and it is looking really nice. Also, I cleared up the misunderstanding between the two families again. Something tells me this is gonna be the pattern.
So last week, Shadow got stuck in a tree. Shadow is our cat. My dad was annoyed so he told me to leave him up there ๐Ÿ˜ถ. It was around six at night when I found him, so it got dark within ten minutes. We got him down the following day. This is the fourth time he has gotten stuck in a tree, so it was time for him to learn how to climb down himself.
This past week and a half have been interesting. My school has had an increase in Covid 19 cases. One victim has been my friend’s brother causing my friend to be quarantined. Which has been weird cause my friend is the only friend of mine who is in in-person school. We text a lot, so as weird as it is not talking to them at lunch, we can still message. Can’t wait for them to return to school on Monday, even though Exams start next week.

Wishing you all a wonderful December. I don’t exactly know what we are doing for Christmas holiday yet, but Angela and I are going to decorate gingerbread houses when she comes over on her days off. I am really excited to decorate them, but I probably won’t be eating it. Now I will probably eat the candies on it ๐Ÿ˜‚. Until then though…. Bye.
