Fall Break Edition!

*note to blog readers, Blogger is struggle-bussing on formating today, so I tried my best to line everything up.*
Another month has gone by since the last time I wrote. My mom originally wanted me to stop writing these, but after running into Mrs. Free at Lidle, I decided to continue writing these. If you read my last update, I am reaching a wider audience than just my Perimeter teachers now, so I might as well. I am also happy to write that, I am now uploading these over to Blogspot, so if you want to go back and read the old one, you can. With that being said, I’m gonna roll into a bit of a longer update.
School is going okay. My grades are a B and higher. I’m basically hanging in there. I like either in-person teaching or online teaching, I can’t do very well when the teacher is teaching one audience while the other just has to know what’s happening. I’m sure a lot of people can relate. I am still very grateful that PDS doesn’t have many known cases yet. I haven’t heard of one at least. Cough and flu season is coming, so lots of kids are probably gonna take an in-person break. I still quite haven’t gotten the school logic of PDS (which had like zero cases) with Norcross High (which apparently has like over 1000 cases) yet? Oh, well. I’m sure the administration knows what they’re doing.
I heard from Mrs. Free that Mrs. Mead has left Perimeter and moved to the public school system. I think Gwinnett is what she said. I searched her up in my school email and came across an email with her name on it. I tried emailing it but never got a response. I tried to look her up in the Gwinnett school website, but you had to know what school she is teaching at, so I kinda gave up doing that. I hope to reach her soon because I know she enjoys these updates especially the joke section at the bottom.
This weekend was fall break for GCPS. My mom, dad, and I went up to Blacksburg to visit Justin. He recently had a birthday and is now one year older. Yay!! Then we drove down part of Blue Ridge PKWY to get to Ashville but turned out of it because it was too long. That was an interesting drive. In Ashville, I visited Arboretum Gardens and Biltmore Estate. Then we drove another long drive, due to my dad’s obsession with Blue Ridge PKWY, to our cabin. That was the extent of that.
And the part that is weirdest to write about. YAY!! Let me first explain, why it is weird to write this portion. My office family is one of the audiences of these letters, but I have friends who like to read this portion too, so… for some, it’s like yay, for others it’s like reading Papa’s book where you are like, I lived that. So shall we begin…
October is a test filled month. Josh has his Oral Ph.D. exam this Friday the sixteenth and his SE is the 23. Justin has hist first test for one of his classes sometime this month. I have my Psat tomorrow the fourteenth. And no, I haven’t studied for that. It was an agreement between my mom and I, due to my frustration with something. Probably a bad idea (and don’t worry my mom is already on me about it because she forgot the agreement), so we’ll have to see about that. I’m just hoping Josh passes his stuff since he has been preparing for them unlike me.
Also, we have a new family chat. To my friend who likes to hear Chris’s spam, after he interrupted Josh and I’s biblical conversation on the chat with random stuff about grilling steaks, Josh and I were in favor of kicking him out. It’s just a Morris chat now. Jess is also in favor of it, so… Yay. Oh and Josh, my mom said we are allowed to text about nonbiblical and nonpolitical stuff now. The reason for this change, she wanted to know how old building like the Biltmore house is still able to stand. At least we can exchange memes again!! With that, I’ll close it here. Have a wonderful rest of the week. Until next time, bye.......................................................................................................................................................................
